We’re absolutely delighted with the work done on our garden. From start to finish, the service was excellent. The quality of the work was outstanding, and everything was completed with real care and attention to detail. Finn was incredibly accommodating, happily taking on extra requests without hesitation, which we really appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. We are very happy with the work done and everything was left spotless and tidy at the end of each day. We are already looking to book Finn again for a bigger project. Finn took my landscaping ideas and interpreted them to create a complete garden transformation. This required clearing the existing tired garden of trees, shrubs and hedging together with almost 100 tons of material in order to create a level garden area. Finn and Scott installed drainage, new fencing, two extensive patio areas connected with pathways using Indian sandstone. Finn designed and built a pergola and installed lighting around the perimeter of the garden. To complete the job they installed a new turfed lawn and planted some 70 new trees and shrubs in the newly raised beds created using Secure Lite walling. Finn and Scott were totally professional, hard working, considerate, tidy and the quality of their work was fantastic throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending 'A Better Garden'. To say that Finn met our expectations would be an understatement. From initial contact through to completion dealing with Finn was always a pleasure. Finn is friendly, polite, punctual, highly skilled individual and a pleasure to have around. However, he is also a head down, plough on grafter who on his own is capable of doing the work of two men. He is always on hand with valuable advice and information to help improve things. Ultimately Finn has managed to transform our garden into the usable outdoor space that we desired and for that we are truly thankful. Finbar and Scott recently finished our garden in whitehead: wasn’t a huge job but a big deal for us. A thorough and top class job in all respects. Finish beautiful and all the falls and drainage just 100%. There’s a lot of cowboys out there but Finbar is the opposite - honest, professional and takes care of all the wee details that make a good job into a great one. Don’t go with anyone else!

Finn has just rebuilt our back garden fence which was brought down in the storm. We were amazed how quickly he completed the job. He is so professional, always on time and clears everything away after him. Oh and he's very pleasant as well
