Initial response from Ace of Spades was good after invitation to quote on our project was sent out to four local contractors. However, I had to chase for figures and when they were sent over there was a complete lack of vital details (materials, method of fabrication, sub-base construction etc), which although the costs supplied were competitive, it left me wondering whether I'd get myself into a situation where 'extras' would start like an avalanche if I gave them the job. I did ask for further details, as well as requesting extra costs for new turf after the hard-landscaping was completed, but I've not had any response at all (despite asking politely by email if they're still interested), so can only assume that lack of upfront detail is a tactic used to charge for extras down the line - My advice, avoid and move on.

Ace of spades Landscaping aren't to be trusted, they where meant to put a slab base under our shed, but when I lifted the floor of the shed all there was a hole with beams going across which meant the floor wasn't on a solid base like we asked for, also when the job was finished they gave away materials that didn't belong to them to a spiteful naigbour with out asking. The patio at top of garden is starting to come apart as well.
