We couldn't be happier with the transformation Jonny 'Greenknight' Meates has brought to our garden. Our project was far from straightforward — multiple levels, tight spaces, and absolutely no access for machinery meant everything had to be done by hand. In fact, three other Newport landscaping companies turned us down purely because they didn’t want to deal with the logistics of the job. Jonny, however, took it on. Across two carefully planned phases over the course of about 5-6 weeks, he completely reimagined and rebuilt our outdoor space. His work ethic is second to none — incredibly hard-working, meticulous, and clearly passionate about delivering the highest standard of work. Although early in his career, his apprentice, Kyran, also deserves a massive pat on the back for his efforts on the project. Jonny was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, always professional, communicative, and dedicated to getting every detail just right. We’re already looking forward to having him back for phase 3. Highly recommend Greenknight to anyone looking for exceptional craftsmanship and a genuinely positive experience. Had Jonny and Cai here to build a retaining wall, turn a dangerous concrete ramp into steps, and lay all new turf. They did a fab job, great price, reliable, always here when they said. Having them back for more work in the future, can highly recommend.

Fantastic! We are absolutely delighted with our new patio, footpath and brick BBQ! Johnny has been brilliant throughout the whole process from quote to completion! Excellent communication, outstanding work ethic, on time and prepared to put extra hours in to finish a task when needed! He always tidies up each day so there is no mess lying around. We cannot fault him! We highly recommend him! He delivered where others failed to even provide a quote! Huge thanks!!!!

Would definitely recommend Jonny for any landscaping work. He transformed my mess of a garden in less than 3 weeks into a wonderful maintenance free area that will give me pleasure for years to come. before and after photos shown. Next step is for me just to add the finishing touches of plants and ornaments. Honest trustworthy and reliable and great fun to chat too as well 😁 Would definitely use this company again
