From the minute I enquired, Hans was quick to come out, discuss my options and provide suggestions to what could be done. Before the job was due to go ahead Hans was out confirming the job and dimensions. From the day the team started, they have been brilliant, their workmanship is outstanding and left my garden clean each day. Hans has been fantastic keeping my updated throughout the progress and also providing additional advice. I'm glad I've found a trusted landscaper and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you to the wonderful teams for all your efforts.. I can't wait to spend time on my new deck now!!

Our back garden had a slope and two very uneven patios laid 30 years ago. We obtained garden design plans from Martin Watt and agreed the design and cost with Hans Goodman of Goodman Landscapes. Hans was reliable, helpful and good to deal with from start to finish. A couple of small adjustments were needed as the project was ongoing, but nothing was too much trouble for Hans and his team. The final outcome is great - large new composite decking areas which are accessed at flat level as you step from the back door or patio doors. New timber dwarf walls, new raised planting beds, new turf, their attention to detail was exceptional.

I am currently sitting in our recently renovated garden that was expertly built by Hans and his team. As you can see from the pictures, it was an extreme transformation and we are very glad we picked Goodman Landscapes after seeing work they had done on our neighbour’s garden. Small, slight changes were never an issue with the team recommending a few changes themselves from the original plans which made complete sense and enhanced the overall finished product. Everyone was courteous, considerate and professional. Hard working and always did everything they said they would. Final snagging was undertaken with no complaints which in this day and age is a massive relief…! Hans was clear about the payment schedule and why delays occurred (inevitable at the moment due to the pandemic). Communication was always clear and he was always available to discuss anything. Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend Goodman and would happily have them return for any future work needed. The garden has been used extensively since it was finished and we could not be happier.

I had my back garden renovated in October 2022 by Goodman Landscapes and would not hesitate to recommend them. I first contacted Hans around April/May and he came out to see the space and take measurements and listen to what I wanted done. He then gave me a fixed price (which was competitive and reasonable for the scale of the work) and booked me in for October. He came out once again a couple of weeks before the work started at my request just to finalise a few details and ensure everything was good to go. Hans’s team, led by Arran worked through truly horrific weather (torrential rain most days) but made decent progress and finished in around 12 working days. Arran was very communicative and always checked details with me before carrying out the works to ensure I got what I wanted and if there were multiple options (e.g. positioning of steps, dimensions of flower bed etc.) walked me through everything and recommended what would work best. The guys were very professional and cleared up at the end of each day as well as jetwashing everything once done. Hans then came out and done the final quality check just to make sure everything was in order. If you are looking to get your garden renovated then Goodman Landscapes is a great option. They are fully booked for months for a reason.

Hans and his team did a great job in our large garden. We are in a new-build house and needed the garden levels defined and terraces built. They also laid two patio areas, created two sets of steps, prepared beds for planting, built bases for a shed and greenhouse and edged everything with stone setts. The team were friendly and flexible. We had a good dialogue as the project progressed making a few minor amendments to the design along the way. Hans made sure he and I spoke at least once a week (the project was four and a half weeks) so he knew we were comfortable with progress.
