Our garden layout was designed by an independent company who arranged for a couple of companies to quote to do the work. Sam assessed the job and was keen to take on the project and we felt his energy and enthusiasm and asked Harlow Garden Services to do the job. From the initial meeting Sam was regularly in touch with us sorting out how to access the garden for their machinery and arranging all the supplies and his team to arrive on the agreed start date. Chris & Matt did the majority of the hard landscaping and they did a fantastic job, updating us daily on the progress and what the next step would be. They left the site in a tidy state each day and were polite and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble if we asked for minor changes to the original design and they offered their opinions on occasions. Sam would come over to check how things were progressing and that we were happy. Chris & Matt said they really enjoyed transforming our garden due to the sweeping nature as this made a change from many of the designs they worked on. Once the hard landscaping was completed, Brad liaised with our designer and carried out the planting in 2 phases due to the time of year so none of the plants could be damaged by the potential late frosts. Again Brad and his colleagues were a pleasure to deal with, polite and always checked that we were happy with the job, or advise us if there were any changes required. We had wanted to have a major overhaul of our garden for the last couple of years to make it somewhere we could sit out and enjoy without having lots to do to keep it looking nice. The transformation is way beyond what we could ever imagine and cannot sing the praises of Sam, Brad and their team enough. We have a few different seating options in the design and along with the view from the house it offers beautiful but different views. Every one of the team was polite, friendly and happy to accommodate and offer advice as the project progressed and left the site tidy. It was great to be able to share a cuppa (or two) with them and discuss things. We would recommend Harlow Garden Services to anyone; in fact some of our friends have recently used them to re-turf their back garden. We intend to have our front garden changed in the future and Sam & Brad will be top of our list to do the job.

We recently worked with Harlow Garden Services to design, plan and build a new patio area, as well as completely replanting the beds at both the front and back of our home. From start to finish, they were excellent. They took the time to properly understand what we wanted to achieve and helped shape the design into something that felt both practical and beautifully considered. The new patio has completely transformed the space and feels like a natural extension of the house. The planting scheme has also been a real highlight. We wanted something inspired by Piet Oudolf’s naturalistic style, with texture, movement and year-round interest, and they absolutely delivered. The beds now feel soft, layered and full of life, while still being thoughtfully structured. Sam, Bradley and the whole team were professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with throughout. Communication was clear, the work was of a very high standard, and they clearly took pride in getting the details right. We’re absolutely delighted with the finished result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Harlow Garden Services to anyone looking for a landscaping company that can combine strong design ideas with excellent execution.

I am delighted with the garden works carried out by Harlow Garden Services who undertook a complete overhaul of my garden. Sam and his team completed the hard landscaping to a very high standard. Communication was excellent throughout from the initial discussions and detailed planning with Sam to the day to day contact with the team working onsite. Advice was thoughtful and helpful and Sam and the team always responded promptly and positively to queries and additional requests throughout the project. The planting was carried out by Bradley and his team to a very high standard. Bradley has an extensive horticultural knowledge and understanding of planting design and was always ready with ideas and suggestions for the planting scheme. The team were very hardworking and completed the planting in good time. Bradley provided a detailed maintenance and care schedule which will be invaluable. The garden was completed by the landscaping and planting teams in good time despite poor weather conditions and the garden left immaculately. I highly recommend Harlow Garden Services who provided a very professional and reliable service and everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. Sam and Bradley brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the planning of the garden and ensured the project went smoothly and completed to a very high standard. The teams were hardworking, skilled and enthusiastic and always eager to help throughout. A huge thank you to Sam, Bradley and their teams for all their hard work and I look forward to enjoying my garden as it blooms and develops.

Garden Pergola/Entertaining area Sam, Chris and Cameron have delivered an amazing space for us. From our initial idea, Sam understood what we wanted and delivered exactly that and on time. The guys worked hard and to a high level of craftsmanship to produce a fantastic entertaining area, that will be used in good weather and bad for many years to come. Highly recommend their services.

Once again Harlow Garden Services did an absolutely fantastic job on our rear garden. Chris and Matt were very professional in their work and nothing was too much trouble it was a pleasure having them work for us- we now have a rear garden of which we are very proud , thanks to Sam and his team. I would thoroughly recommend HGS and we will certainly be using HGS again.
