We needed to replace an old, cracked concrete drive and obtained quotes from various companies. Roman Road Systems were not the cheapest but after visiting their outdoor display area at Eckington and meeting Rob the owner we decided to use this company. Rob was friendly, not pushy at all and explained the advantages of the materials they use and methods of installation. The old drive was completely removed and a new permeable concrete foundation and resin bound drive installed on top. No need for any drains between the drive and garage as any rainfall soaks straight through into the ground. The installation team were always polite, hard working and provided good advice regarding the layout and colour scheme. We are very pleased with the finished product which dramatically improves the appearance of our property. Thank you to Rob and the team.

We're really happy with the work Roman Roads did for us. Professional and courteous throughout, did a brilliant job transforming our driveway and patio, with front steps repair and a new gate. Would definitely recommend.

I have just had a new resin drive installed by Roman Road Systems, and I have to say the results are everything I could have hoped for. I had a concrete drive that was cracked in places, and crumbling in others. When I decided enough was enough and it needed replacing, I took a walk around my local neighbourhood looking for inspiration. I saw two driveways that caught my eye, both looked to be relatively new, smart, resin bound drives. I enquired of both home owners who had done their drives and could they recommend them. It turned out both had been done by Roman Road Systems and both home owners gave glowing recommendations. I still took my time to obtain quotes from a number of firms. I was very impressed meeting Rob for the first time. He went through what they could do for me, and even suggested how they could extend the area at the back, where I keep my bins. He also listened to my ideas and accommodated my wishes. I mentioned my idea of having a new metal security fence installed at some point, and it was Rob that advised me to co-ordinate the installation of the fence posts with the drive preparation. (They later co-ordinated the timing directly with the fence company.) I ended up deciding on a resin bound drive because I liked the appearance, I liked that rain water would simply drain through, and also the anti-slip nature, since part of my drive is on a slope. When the job started, Rob's team was very friendly and hard working. Daylight hours were short, as it was done in December, but they worked from not long after 8am until the light faded most days. As you can see from the photos, it's been quite a transformation. Although it was expensive, I'm sure it will have added significantly to my property value in the long term. Thanks Rob and team!

We had a number of quotes for our drive but we went with Roman Roads because we felt very comfortable doing business with Rob (the owner). He was friendly from the the outset, not pushy, nothing was too much trouble. We visited his office to look at some samples which was really helpful. Rob was reassuring throughout. When the install day came the lads were very polite and respectful, worked super hard and did a great job. Communication with Rob was great throughout, he was super-responsive on WhatsApp and even arranged to do the final surfacing whilst we were on holiday as we had no access to the house without walking over the drive. This was really helpful and a lovely treat to come back to after our hols! We love the new drive, it looks agreat and makes the front of the house seem bigger! We also had the back patio areas done in a different colour finish, which is also great and has really tidied up the back of our house. I would definitely recommend Roman Roads.

I cannot praise the staff at Roman Road Systems highly enough, from ROB, the MD, to each and everyone of his staff who carry out various tasks in laying a resin drive. To be fair we did have cheaper quotes, but didn't feel that other companies would offer the same professional service and this was indeed the case. Consequently we felt very comfortable throughout the whole process and have ended up with a driveway which is every bit as good as we had hoped for. I would therefore highly recommend!
