Ordered some grass in Feb 2023, it has a very visible stitch line down the middle of it. Have contacted the company several times, and just get told we have not fitted it correctly !! Just started court action to recover the costs, this company is far from customer friendly.Avoid at all costs .

Very disappointed with the service provided. Ordered a week before, and it was only when I contacted Smart Direct for confirmation of time, I was advised, it would not be delivered on the day it was promised. When I spoke to the receptionist, I was advised it was impossible for my grass to be delivered on the promised day because there was no courier available. When I spoke to the manager, Bart, he said there was a courier available, however he would expect me to pay for half of the delivery cost. For a company who made the mistake, to then say no couriers were available to then say there was one available but they would want me to pay half is appalling. They cannot even get their stories straight. I had spent nearly £2k and he wanted me to pay an additional £80 for delivery. He then threatened to cancel my entire order! I would have done so had I not promised my client the grass. When the delivery did arrive, late, it had missing pegs, which meant I had to spend more time searching for these rather than getting on with my job. All in all, very poor customer service. Bart should be trained in how to talk to customers rather than thinking he is right and understand his company has made the mistake and inconvienced the customer.
