We had new fences, patio and a new brick planter put in, alongside some other tidy-ups Everything looks amazing and has been done to the highest quality, with no details missed! Dealing with Luke and team was a pleasure, they made everything so easy and provided great advice throughout the process. Couldn’t recommend Terra Firma more highly!

"Luke and his Terra Firma team worked under some very challenging January weather conditions, to deliver a first-class job for me. They removed about 20 square metres of stone patio, filled several skips, leveled and enriched the soil, and then returfed my entire garden. They also installed new fencing along the way. The timing was perfect, with the turf laid just at the start of spring. Luke and his team were extremely neat and tidy, using protective mats through the kitchen when bringing soil and stone in and out, and there was absolutely no damage to the house. The whole job was first-class from start to finish. Luke is affable, professional and accommodating—he even handled a few minor changes in direction midway through the project, which I really appreciated. The overall cost was quite reasonable, even though there were a couple of unexpected costs that cropped up during the project due to an under-estimation of sleepers required. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed, and would recommend Luke and his company to anyone needing landscaping expertise.

Terra Firma Landscapes under the hands-on direction of Luke Richards, its founder, is exemplary in their focus driven approach to transforming the stalest of gardens into a thing of welcome and beauty. We recently needed to fill in a small disused pond, replace a tired old-fashioned fence and a pergola that had seen better days. As a couple of a certain age, we could not visualise what transformation might look like and felt both uncertain and frustrated. Enter Luke Richards, the most charming, likeable, empathetic and altruistic of people who clearly has the uncanny knack for reading people and situations quickly and communicating with warmth and respect. Luke took charge, produced with speed a design and plan within our budget which we immediately accepted. The teams he sent: Ryan & Jack on tree surgery, George & Egzon on pond conversion, and Sam & Danny on fence and pergola installation are all a credit to Luke and the company he has created. They were efficient, good natured, tidy, perfectionists with a positive attitude. Luke has even offered, out of contract, to pop in to begin retraining my wisteria on the pergola. We wholeheartedly recommend, without reservation, Luke Richards and his team at Terra Firma. We have already asked Luke to produce a plan for redesigning our garden space that accommodates our special circumstances. My partner loves the garden but can no longer manage the jobs that brought him such pleasure. Wonderful garden transformation in SE25 from Luke and the team who have turned my compact 1930's terrace garden into a beautiful retreat. Although the guys encountered a few issues along the way everything was clearly explained to me and the end result is even better than I'd hoped. I'll be getting them back next year for the front garden!
