Level Lawns laid a new lawn for us several weeks ago, but I wanted to wait before posting a review to see how well it held up. Unfortunately, just after the lawn was laid, my hose burst when they turned it on, meaning the grass didn’t get the best start. iI had to rush out to find a replacement, and thankfully managed to buy one before the shops closed and was able to give the lawn its first proper drink that evening. Fast forward to four weeks later after religious watering and care, I’m pleased to say the lawn is thriving. It’s growing beautifully, and after a careful mow, it looks lovely and thick. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the results and the service provided by Level Lawns. If I had one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to suggest that they bring their own hose to jobs. This would ensure the lawn gets at least one thorough watering before they leave and help prevent any last-minute scrambling if a customer’s hose unexpectedly bursts (like mine). The photos show the lawn right after its first watering on the evening it was laid, alongside a couple taken this week. Edit: Since posting this review and photos, a furry visitor managed to get into the garden and had a lovely time digging in the lawn. I’ve tried to patch up the divots, but I’ll be reaching out to Level Lawns for grass seed matching the turf they laid. Fingers crossed it will bounce back!

I had David and the team over to Level and lawn my 150ft garden. The team estimated 4 days for the work but completed in 3. They were punctual and turned up early each morning to get cracking with the job. They worked very hard and completed the job transforming my garden. Will definitely use again. Very happy! Thank you guys! Last two photos are two years later. With careful maintenance and care, lawn still looks great.

We’re over the moon with the project completed by Level Lawns and Landscaping. From the moment they first visited we could tell they were professional and had years of expertise behind them. This was reflected in the work that they did - they were on time, worked hard, communicated well throughout and supported us to make the most out of our budget. The result is even better than we’d hoped for! We would highly recommend this company to our friends and family. We originally heard about them through my in-laws who used their services 8 years ago and recommended them. It’s great to see a local Essex company doing so well and we’d definitely use them again.

We had asked several different companies about returfing our lawn after it was left in a bit of an uneven state. Their quote was very competitive and we’re available to start the work much sooner than others. We couldn’t be happier with the results, they have completely transformed our garden space, all in time for our children to be able to enjoy it this summer. Dave, Steve and team were super helpful and professional, and we were really impressed with the detailed aftercare advice we received.
